MET.
I have been working on my Solo Project MET since 2009. With new releases coming in 2022, MET is coming for you!
Ask My Bull
Ask My Bull
I have had the joy of working with Ask My Bull since May/June 2019 following the release of the incredible debut album ‘Creature’.
The electrified wail of a raging saxophone! The distorted roar of a thundering bass! The visceral-yet-intricate pounding of drums! An instrumental whirlwind from Manchester; with experimental textures and heavy grooves - a musical chimera that combines the visceral energy of punk, the danceability of drum'n'bass and the intriguing nuance of jazz: Ask My Bull is delightfully hyperactive and cinematically epic.
They push the boundaries with insane sonic textures, and smooth, versatile genre fusion. Not to mention rocking the fuck out with bubble guns!!
Fluorescent and flirtatious or blunt and vulgar; they crackle with an infectious energy that always sends a current through the crowd.
Having existed in various iterations over the past decade, the current female-led 3 piece lineup has paraded across stages in the UK from Plymouth to Glasgow, and thrived in the festival scene. Rocking many of the best, including Shambala, Boomtown, Bearded Theory, Beat-herder, Kendal Calling, Eden, Kelburn Garden Party, Green Gathering, Nozstock and One Tribe/Audio Farm (and many more!)
You may know them from the 2017 soundtrack for Vewn’s viral video ‘Cat City’, which currently has over 9 million views on Youtube. The collaboration later aired on Adult Swim, with the bands track ‘Army of Swans’ later providing the soundtrack to another Vewn short ‘Mask Dog’.

Seas of Mirth
I’ve been working with Seas of Mirth following our collaboration on track ‘Fangtooth’ off their 2023 album ‘Kriller’.
I play live Sax and do guest vocals on a few tracks whenever we are both available. (Not to mention running around with a bubblegun or a couple of jellyfish!)
Seas of Mirth are a high energy multi-genre band with a interactive deep sea twist… from the East Midlands. Fronted by two co-founding guitarists Al Judders and Tidal Paul since the earliest conception in the late noughties, the band currently dabble in everything from worldly dance beats to wonky disco funk to psychey prog-folk, while the visual element is full on too with UV lights, bubbles, flamboyant white costumes and LED sea creatures on stage and in the crowd.. plus a regular traditional tug of war for good measure. It’s one big sensory experience that has gone down a treat for many years now at festivals such as Glastonbury, Boomtown, Bearded Theory, Nozstock, Isle of Wight, Lindisfarne, Beat Herder, Maui Waui and Camp Bestival.
Square Wild
Square Wild are a hard hitting, genre-bending force of nature from Manchester.
I’ve been working with Square Wild since 2025, joining them for shows as they prepare to release their debut album, and build their live sound. It’s an exciting time to be working with the band as they experiment further with different genres, and perfect their high energy live performances!
Hard to pigeon hole but easy to love, Square Wild weave an intricate web of styles and influences to create something truly unique. On a bedrock of meaty and heavy riffs they layer funk, reggae, jazz, hard rock, ska, silliness and salacious grooves to great effect.
Suiting nearly any bill, they are a non-metal band who won Manchester's Metal to the Masses and played Bloodstock.
They are not quite prog and won Prog Magazines Best Unsigned Band of the year in the readers poll.
Pollen
Pollenating the airwaves from 2014 -2020, I joined forces with Pollen in 2016.
This manic 4 piece blast out a chaotic cacophony of funky fusion concepts. Drawing influences from the worlds of reggae, ska, punk, psychedelia, hip-hop, funk, and jazz. With no two songs sounding alike, their unwillingness to be pigeon holed drove them to coin a phrase to explain their sound "devil reggae" . Always forging new ideas, whether on it or off it, this gang never forget about the beat with that all important groove is at the heart of every track.
